Premiership - Hearts 1-0 Kilmarnock

Hearts' Scottish Premiership season continued with a win against Kilmarnock at Tynecastle on Saturday.

Despite incredibly failing with two penalties Hearts, as we reacted to the defeat to Dundee United before this (who won again), ran out one-nil winners against second bottom Kilmarnock.

Technically as much as the first penalty was missed, well more saved by Kilmarnock 'keeper Jamie MacDonald to deny Jamie Walker he followed up when the ball came back off the post to have Hearts ahead on seven-minutes - that penalty was awarded when Prince Buaben was brought down by Stuart Findlay, who escaped with only a yellow.

Sam Nicholson saw the post deny the Jambos another goal before a second penalty (a 15th for the season) was awarded with MacDonald saving again to deny Abiola Dauda this time, who did take a poor spot kick but it mattered not in the end as a third placed finish now looks increasingly likely.

These were the other results.

Friday 26th February 2016
Hamilton 1-1 Celtic

Saturday 27th February 2016
Aberdeen 1-1 St Johnstone
Dundee 1-1 Inverness CT
Hearts 1-0 Kilmarnock
